Q&A – Pro Domme Society

What is Pro Domme Society?
Pro Domme Society (PDS) is a network for dominant women who believe in connection, quality and continuous development. The Society brings professional Pro Dommes and non-commercial dominant women together to share knowledge, exchange experiences and inspire each other. In addition, submissives and others involved can join as a Friend of PDS.
Why was Pro Domme Society founded?
Pro Domme Society was born from the conviction that cooperation makes you stronger than competition. There is a great deal of knowledge within the BDSM world, but it often remains scattered across individual practices. By bringing that knowledge together, room is created for growth, depth and further professionalisation of the profession.
Is Pro Domme Society only intended for commercial Pro Dommes?
No. Although professional Mistresses are an important target group, the Society is also open to dominant women who do not work commercially. They can use the learning environment and take part in workshops, masterclasses, networking meetings and private parties. The only difference is that they are not listed as a professional Mistress on Pro-Domme.nl.
What is the difference between a commercial Pro Domme and a non-commercial Domme within the Society?
Professional Pro Dommes can present themselves to potential clients via Pro-Domme.nl and are part of the professional network. Non-commercial Dommes take part in the same community and can also continue to develop themselves, but are not listed as service providers on the website.
What are the Founding Members?
Founding Members are the Mistresses who have helped build Pro Domme Society from the very beginning. When PDS was still only an idea and a vision, they expressed their trust and actively helped shape the development of the platform. The title is a token of appreciation for their contribution to the foundation of the Society.
Is Pro Domme Society a quality mark?
No. Pro Domme Society does not issue certifications and does not assess Mistresses. The Society is a network in which members invest in knowledge, personal development and cooperation. Membership shows that someone consciously chooses to be part of a community in which quality, safety and professionalism are considered important.
Can anyone become a member of Pro Domme Society?
No. Pro Domme Society deliberately chooses quality over quantity. That is why it is not possible to sign up automatically and become a member straight away.
Every application is assessed personally. Before anyone is admitted, there is always an introduction. This can be a personal conversation, a meeting or an extensive telephone or online conversation. The aim is not to judge people on their experience or knowledge, but to find out whether there is a mutual connection and whether the vision of Pro Domme Society matches that of the candidate.
The Society wants to be a safe, respectful and like-minded community in which members feel free to share knowledge, experiences and insights with each other. That requires mutual trust. That is exactly why great value is placed on a personal introduction before someone becomes part of the network.
By deliberately choosing this careful admission procedure, Pro Domme Society wants to safeguard the quality, the sense of connection and the culture of the Society in the long term as well.
Do all members have to share the same vision of BDSM?
Absolutely not. It is precisely the different backgrounds, specialisations and points of view that make the Society valuable. Within Pro Domme Society there is room for a wide variety of forms of dominance and BDSM. The aim is not to make everyone think the same way, but to learn from and inspire each other.
What are the benefits of membership?
Depending on the chosen membership, members can use the online learning environment, workshops, masterclasses, networking meetings, downloads, educational documents, videos and exclusive private parties. Professional Pro Dommes can also have a profile page on Pro-Domme.nl.
What is the online learning environment?
The learning environment is a growing knowledge platform that brings together courses, protocols, e-learnings, practical experiences, reference works, downloads and video material. The content is continuously expanded, so that members can keep developing themselves.
What are the private parties?
The private parties are small-scale gatherings for members of Pro Domme Society. They offer a safe environment in which people can meet each other, exchange experiences and experience BDSM in a respectful setting. The emphasis is on connection, trust and quality.
Can submissives become members too?
Yes. Through the Friends of PDS membership, submissives and others involved can be part of the Society. They receive invitations to private parties, selected workshops and other activities.
What is a Patron?
Patrons are people who want to actively support the mission of Pro Domme Society. They contribute to the further development of a platform that is committed to quality, education, connection and professionalisation within the BDSM community.
Why is there an emphasis on connection?
Because real development happens when people are willing to share their knowledge and experience with each other. Pro Domme Society believes that women make each other stronger by working together, inspiring each other and giving each other room to grow.
Does Pro Domme Society only focus on the Netherlands?
At the moment the Society focuses entirely on the Netherlands and Flanders. All trainings, documents and the entire learning environment are in Dutch. International expansion is one of the possibilities for the future, but first PDS wants to build a strong foundation in the Netherlands and Flanders.
What makes Pro Domme Society unique?
Pro Domme Society is the first Dutch platform that brings professional Pro Dommes, non-commercial dominant women, submissives and others involved together in one community. It combines a professional network with education, knowledge sharing, workshops, masterclasses, private parties and an extensive online learning environment. The Society is built on the conviction that connection, development and cooperation are the foundation of quality.
What does the future of Pro Domme Society look like?
In the coming years the Society wants to grow further as a meeting place for dominant women who consciously invest in their personal and professional development. The learning environment will be continuously expanded with new courses and knowledge, while the range of workshops, masterclasses and events will also keep growing. The ultimate goal is a strong community in which members inspire and support each other and together contribute to a higher level of quality within the BDSM world.
